"08" Wines Are in Their Barrels

We've been busy over the winter making our wine for
2009! But we are pleased to share that all of our wines processed in 2008
are now sleeping soundly in their barrels, and we have already had time
to make early evaluations of their potential...which is looking
excellent. Although the heavy rain that we experienced during September
and October kept us on the edge of our seats, we have been pleasantly
surprised by the great flavors that the wines are developing.

Now we're off to the next cycle of making high-quality
wines: pruning. We believe that properly pruned vines are vital to
creating new buds which will yield the highest quality grapes, thereby
creating the best possible start for our future wines. We hope that
you'll be able to visit the vineyard soon to taste the wines that we
have worked so hard to perfect!
