Paradocx Vineyard is proud to be a part of our local community in Southern Chester County, PA and we look forward to providing you with the "Paradocx experience" as you enroll to become a member of our Farm CSA!
As a 100-acre farm which serves as home to over 30 acres of grape vines and a state of the art wine making facility, we are committed to making farming in the Philadelphia countryside sustainable. We have made significant efforts towards creating a reputable local agricultural product and in doing so have contributed to the preservation of local agriculture heritage in Pennsylvania. In our effort to create and sustain an enduring relationship between community members and Paradocx Vineyard, we are now in our second successful year of our very own CSA initiative -- which stands for "Community Supported Agriculture."
Here's How it Works
A Farm CSA is a system in which community members purchase a farm "share" at the beginning of a growing season, when the farmer needs start-up capital for equipment, seeds, etc. In return, the member receives an annual supply (6 bottles or 3-3.5 liters cans) of estate made Paradocx wine to be picked up three times: June, July and August at Partnering CSA's. The cost for Paradocx Vineyard Farm CSA wine share $99.00 for your choice of a white share or red share.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a CSA?
The idea originated with a community’s desire to support local agriculture.
A farmer would be identified to grow shares of produce, fruit, or other agricultural products.
Shares were purchased before the growing season and the community and farmer shared in the risks
that came with agriculture. They also shared in the joys of locally grown fresh foods.
Why does Paradocx Vineyard have a CSA?
We grow greater than 90% of the grapes that go into our wines. The other grapes come from less than
50 miles (a distance often used to define "local") from our winery. The owning families live on the
vineyard and we are involved in our community in several aspects of our lives.
Paradocx CSA fits the intention of supporting local agriculture, good local food,
preserving local farms and decreasing our carbon footprint.

What are "Pick-Ups?"
Three times a year, June, July and August Partnering CSA's will have your wine available for pickup on
selected dates and times. Each pickup consisting of two bottles or one 3.5 liter Paint Can of wine.
What is my risk in joining Paradocx Vineyard CSA?
The risk is very minimal compared to other CSA’s. In our model, we have already grown and harvested the crop,
so we know we are going to make wine. The only risk is if a bottling is delayed or we determine not to bottle
a particular wine. In this case we will substitute another wine of equal value.
What are the types of shares?
Two types of shares are available, a "Whites Share", all white wines; a "Reds Share", all red wines;
