Karen O’Lone-Hahn - Paradocx Artist in Residence
Karen O'Lone-Hahn is an eclectic artist who has produced a large body of work in acrylic and oil painting. She is well known in the region for her whimsical folk art paintings featuring brightly colored cows as well as for her popular portrait series which she titles "People on the Couch." Karen is also the author/illustrator of her very popular children's book "Millicent and the Faraway Moon" which is available on her website, at the Newark Arts Alliance, and at other regional retailers. Karen has won many awards for her work and been featured in numerous magazine articles and in 2 books. Her work is widely collected in the U.S. and abroad. She accepts commissions for paintings and is available for artist residencies and author book visits. When Dave Magrogan, CEO of Kildare's Irish pub & Doc Magrogan's Oyster House, and independent restaurateur Dana Farrell met, they shared the very different desires and expectations they had for the restaurant they’d each like to open in the near future.
Dave had secured the space, formally leased by the Gap at Glen Eagle Square in Glen Mills, PA to recreate his "Grady David's" concept and Dana was searching for a location in Glen Mills that she could recreate her "Classic Diner" concept.
